Cung Tiên Sơn Đà Nẵng lập kỉ lục Guinnes với giải đấu Pickleball PPA Việt Nam Cup 2025

Giải đầu tiên của hệ thống PPA Tour Asia ở cấp độ Cup, Vietnam Cup 2025, sẽ diễn ra tại Cung Thể thao Tiên Sơn & Làng Thể thao Tuyên Sơn (Đà Nẵng) với lượng khán giả kỷ lục.
Nổi bật giữa lòng Đà Nẵng, Cung thể thao Tiên Sơn từ lâu đã được xem là biểu tượng kiến trúc độc đáo với dáng dấp như một “đĩa bay khổng lồ”. Sau nhiều năm là điểm đến quen thuộc của những sự kiện thể thao – văn hóa tầm cỡ, công trình hiện đại này chuẩn bị bước vào một dấu mốc mới khi trở thành địa điểm đăng cai giải pickleball PPA Tour Asia – MB Vietnam Cup 2025 từ 30/9 đến 4/10/2025.
Cung thể thao Tiên Sơn (Đà Nẵng)
Đà Nẵng sẽ đăng cai MB Vietnam Cup, chặng thứ 5 của hệ thống PPA Tour Asia – giải đấu pickleball chuyên nghiệp hàng đầu thế giới. Các trận đấu sẽ diễn ra tại Cung thể thao Tiên Sơn và Làng thể thao Tuyên Sơn, với tổng giá trị giải thưởng lên tới 150.000 USD.
Giải dự kiến quy tụ hơn 120 tay vợt chuyên nghiệp quốc tế cùng khoảng 1.000 vận động viên phong trào trong và ngoài nước. Những ngôi sao hàng đầu thế giới như Ben Johns, Federico Staksrud, Anna Bright, Tyson McGuffin, Tyra Hurricane Black, Kaitlyn Christian, Zoey Chao Yi Wang và Alix Truong đã xác nhận tham dự. Các tay vợt Việt Nam như Trịnh Linh Giang, Lý Hoàng Nam… cũng góp mặt hứa hẹn mang đến bầu không khí sôi động và kịch tính chưa từng có.
Một ngày trước thềm giải đấu hình ảnh đầu tiên về địa điểm thi đấu đã được hé lộ. Theo đó sàn thi đấu đã được trải thảm xanh tiêu chuẩn quốc tế. Các sân pickleball được kẻ vạch rõ ràng, nằm gọn dưới mái vòm khổng lồ hình “đĩa bay” – biểu tượng kiến trúc độc đáo của Đà Nẵng. Với sức chứa hơn 6.000 chỗ ngồi, khán đài nhiều tầng đầy màu sắc đã sẵn sàng chào đón khán giả, hứa hẹn biến Tiên Sơn thành “chảo lửa” của những trận cầu pickleball đỉnh cao, nơi Việt Nam lần đầu ghi dấu trên bản đồ thể thao quốc tế. Sức hút của các VĐV hàng đầu thế giới và hàng đầu Việt Nam hứa hẹn sẽ thu hút hàng nghìn người hâm mộ khắp nơi về phủ kín khán đài. Nếu vượt qua con số 4000 khán giả của giải PPA Tour Asia được tổ chức tại Hồng Kông, Việt Nam sẽ xác lập kỷ lục Guinness số người xem một trận đấu pickleball lớn nhất thế giới.

Việc Đà Nẵng đăng cai PPA Tour Asia không chỉ là cơ hội quảng bá thành phố như một “điểm đến sự kiện thể thao quốc tế”, mà còn đánh dấu bước tiến lớn trong sự phát triển của pickleball tại Việt Nam. Theo Liên đoàn Pickleball Châu Á (UPA), chỉ riêng năm 2024, số người chơi thường xuyên tại Việt Nam đã tăng tới 152%, cho thấy sức hút mạnh mẽ của bộ môn mới mẻ này.
