60 là số lượng trang phục luyện tập pickleball mà Cổ Ngân (30 tuổi, quận 7, TP.HCM) sở hữu. Với mức giá từ 1-7 triệu đồng cho một món đồ, tay vợt nữ này đầu tư đến hàng trăm triệu đồng cho thời trang pickleball.
Dù mới tham gia môn thể thao thịnh hành cách đây khoảng 3 tháng, Cổ Ngân không ngại đầu tư cho quần áo, giày và vợt pickleball. Trước đó, người chơi 30 tuổi cũng từng thử sức với trượt băng, bóng rổ, bóng chuyền, bơi lội, đều mạnh tay chi tiêu cho đồ luyện tập các bộ môn này.
“Tôi ăn mặc chỉn chu tại tất cả điểm đến, không riêng ở sân pickleball. Đó là thái độ tôn trọng bản thân và những người xung quanh”, Ngân chia sẻ với Tri Thức – Znews.

Theo báo cáo Tổng quan nhóm sản phẩm pickleball từ ngày 8/6 -5/9 của công ty nghiên cứu thị trường Metric, chỉ trong quý III, thị trường pickleball ở Việt Nam ghi nhận tổng doanh thu 22,7 tỷ đồng ở 5 sàn TMĐT, tăng gần 150% so với quý trước.
Tương tự, báo cáo Xu hướng thảo luận của người dùng về các môn thể thao hot nhất MXH 2024 của YouNet Media cũng cho thấy sự quan tâm đặc biệt của công chúng với trang thiết bị chơi pickleball. 52,78% cuộc trò chuyện liên quan đến bộ môn này nhắc về quần áo, giày và vợt.
Khi pickleball trở nên thịnh hành tại Việt Nam từ tháng 4, nhiều người chơi sẵn sàng đầu tư hàng trăm triệu đồng cho trang phục, thiết bị luyện tập. Các tay vợt này cho rằng việc ăn mặc đẹp, check-in tại sân pickleball là điều bình thường, không đáng bị phán xét.
Mạnh tay chi tiêu
Phần lớn trang phục luyện tập của Cổ Ngân đến từ các nhãn hàng quốc tế như Alo Yoga, Lululemon hay Olaben, được mua trong các chuyến du lịch nước ngoài. Tuy nhiên, khi không có nhiều thời gian đi du lịch gần đây, tay vợt nữ này mua sắm từ các thương hiệu Việt Nam.

Theo Cổ Ngân, kiểu dáng, chất vải của sản phẩm nội địa không thua kém các mặt hàng quốc tế. Hơn nữa, khi tiêu dùng hàng Việt, người chơi pickleball này cũng không phải chờ đợi thời gian vận chuyển kéo dài.
Bên cạnh quần áo, Cổ Ngân cũng đầu tư vào những đôi giày thể thao thoải mái, an toàn của adidas hoặc Nike. Giải thích cho sự chịu chi này, Ngân cho biết trang phục, giày chơi pickleball đều có thể ứng dụng khi luyện tập các môn thể thao khác, không lo phí.
“Nhiều người nói pickleball là thể thao ‘dưỡng sinh’, nhưng tôi thấy cường độ tập luyện không nhẹ nhàng như tưởng tượng, lần nào cũng ướt đẫm mồ hôi khi ra sân. Vì vậy, việc đầu tư cho trang phục thoáng khí, thấm hút mồ hôi tốt là điều dễ hiểu”, Cổ Ngân nói.
Tương tự, người chơi Hạt Mít (34 tuổi, TP.HCM) cũng mạnh tay chi tiêu cho trang phục, thiết bị luyện tập pickleball.
Tay vợt nữ này sở hữu đến 50 bộ trang phục trong tủ đồ. Mức giá trung bình của mỗi bộ là 1-2 triệu đồng, nâng tổng giá trị bộ sưu tập thời trang pickleball lên hàng trăm triệu đồng.

Về thiết bị luyện tập bộ môn này, Hạt Mít tậu 5 chiếc vợt với mức giá khoảng 7 triệu đồng/chiếc để ra sân. Cô mua sắm đồ luyện tập từ cả thương hiệu quốc tế và nhãn hàng nội địa.
Giải thích về mức chi tiêu lớn cho trang phục chơi pickleball, Hạt Mít cho biết các thiết kế mà cô xuống tiền mua đều dễ dàng ứng dụng linh hoạt, phù hợp để mặc trong nhiều dịp, không chỉ xuất hiện trên sân.
“Khi mặc trang phục pickleball đi cà phê, mua sắm, gặp gỡ bạn bè, tôi tiết kiệm được một khoản lớn cho các kiểu váy áo khác nhau. Như vậy, tôi đang cắt giảm chi tiêu cho quần áo chứ không phải tiêu thêm”, tay vợt đến từ TP.HCM giải thích.
Ngoài ra, đối với Hạt Mít, pickleball là một bộ môn gắn liền với lối sống, cộng đồng, tạo cơ hội gặp gỡ, giao lưu với bạn bè. Do đó, cô luôn chú trọng ăn mặc chỉn chu khi ra sân, thể hiện sự tôn trọng đối với những người xung quanh.
Bình thường hoá chuyện mặc đẹp, check-in
Giống với nhiều tay vợt nữ khác, Thu Hằng (25 tuổi, quận Ba Đình, Hà Nội) cũng háo hức sắm sửa trang phục luyện tập khi bén duyên với pickleball từ tháng 5. Hằng cho biết không mặc trùng đồ tập trong khoảng một tháng.
Tự nhận là người kém thể thao, cô coi việc “lên đồ” là động lực để ra sân. Nhờ sở thích ăn mặc đẹp, Hằng có thể duy trì thói quen chơi pickleball gần nửa năm nay, tự vượt qua hạn chế của bản thân.
Ngoài ra, cô cũng không ngại chụp hình khoe trang phục, bất chấp những ý kiến chỉ trích các tay vợt chỉ check-in, không thực sự chơi bóng khi ra sân pickleball.
Thu Hằng cho rằng việc đăng tải những tấm hình check-in lên trang cá nhân giúp cô lưu giữ kỉ niệm, tự ghi nhận thành tựu của bản thân, đồng thời kết nối với những người chơi thể thao khác.
“Ăn mặc chỉn chu, chụp hình đẹp không gây xao nhãng, ngược lại còn giúp tinh thần tốt lên, từ đó cải thiện thành tích luyện tập”, Hằng chia sẻ.

Đồng tình với Thu Hằng, Cổ Ngân cũng cho rằng việc ăn mặc đẹp đến từ nhu cầu thể hiện bản thân, phong cách cá nhân chính đáng của người chơi pickleball. Đây là nhu cầu của cả tay vợt nam và nữ khi ra sân.
Theo Ngân, điều quan trọng là ăn mặc phù hợp với hoàn cảnh. Ví dụ, cô không mặc đồ bơi để chạy bộ, không diện trang phục đi chơi đến lớp học.
Bên cạnh đó, Cổ Ngân cũng nhận định rằng việc chụp hình trên sân pickleball có tính chất tương tự với hoạt động check-in ở quán cà phê, phòng gym, trên đường phố, không đáng bị chỉ trích, phán xét.

When I initially commented I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment. There has to be a way you are able to remove me from that service? Thanks a lot!
